Dear Eagle Family,
Raver Golf Presented by Harvest Foods
At Eastern, when it is Harvest Foods Ron Raver Classic Golf Week, you know that our athletic seasons are just around the corner. To learn more about the tournament, I have provided this link…

I can write with conviction that without the annual support of Harvest Foods and Buzz Bellessa, this tournament would not be the success and help it is to the athletic department. Thanks again to Buzz and Harvest Foods for making this annual occurrence happen!!
Fall Team Reporting
August is the month where many of our fall student-athletes are back on campus preparing for their seasons. We are extremely excited about the academic year ahead. Our football team has been ranked in many preseason polls while our soccer and volleyball teams are both coming off second-place finishes in the Big Sky, so it should be a great ride again this fall. And to cap it off, our cross country teams and athletic department will be hosting the Big Sky Championships on October 30th – it should be a tremendous competition.
Red Turf Update
Because we were going from natural grass to a synthetic surface, this project has two been sliced into two phases. First the underground needed to be prepared and once that was completed, Sprinturf could come in and install the carpet. Thanks to Pauletto Trucking and Excavation of Spokane, the first part of the puzzle has been accomplished ahead of schedule so now it is on to the
turf….

Presidents’ Cup Trophy
And finally and most importantly - a tremendous congratulations to all of our student-athletes, coaches, staff, and campus community who all made it possible for us to win our first-ever Big Sky Presidents’ Cup Trophy.
