May 2012
Dear Eagle Family,
Let me first start by thanking the 700 friends and Eagle Athletic supporters that came out to the 31st Annual Killin Dinner, Dance and Auction. This event is a major cornerstone of not only the athletic department but the University as a whole. I would like to thank Kyle Hoob, Kara Hogan, Judy Crabb and Leslie Mowatt who did a fantastic job coordinating this major undertaking as well as the other countless volunteers and staff members that make this an annual “go to.” Mark your date for 2013 – Killin Weekend will be April 26-27 . . .
The Killin Dinner also marks the conclusion of our annual EAA Fund Drive – currently we are still tallying the numbers for this year’s six-week drive but it appears that we are very close to attaining our numbers from last year, which is great since last year’s numbers were some of our best numbers all-time.
In addition, we named our Booster of the Year at Killin – this year, we actually had Boosters of the Year as I indicated at the event. This couple hit the trifecta for us . . . they support us financially, they are EAA Fund Drive volunteers and they also provide gift-in-kind from their two businesses -- just fantastic support!! With that, congratulations to Sue and Gary Hustad – we appreciate everything that you have done and that you do!!!
